Kim H. Allen, M.D.
Dr. Kim Allen attended the University of Mississippi School of Medicine where she obtained her Doctor of Medicine. She completed an internship at the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas, Texas, and an internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas. She has a Master of Science in Neuroscience from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, and a BS in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Clark Atlanta University in Atlanta, Georgia.
She serves on the Institutional Review Board of Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas. She has volunteered for Project Access through DCMS, Habitat for Humanity, raised money and awareness for Susan G. Komen and actively volunteers as needed in the South Dallas community. She is a member of the DCMS, AMA and the American College of Physicians.
Dr. Allen is married and enjoys spending time with her husband and her dog. Her hobbies include running, cycling, weight lifting and reading. Her interests are in preventive medicine and obesity.
